But for now, we're learning to trust God.

Ok, so the best weekend!~   Our Mardi Gras party was back in full swing!

It was fun to get out the hurricane glasses, beads, feather boas...you name it!

It was an evening full of food, drink, laughs - lots of laughs!

Spring is in the air!

Ok, so, it's January in the Pacific NW, it's supposed to be gray!

However, it's this time each year when we get a day of sunshine,

and I immediately think spring!

I see daffodils poking out of the ground at the bus stop.

I see bud's waiting to burst on the trees.

Queen of Love

I've spent the week thumbing through the book Blogging For Bliss, by Tara Frey.  OK, can I say, sooooo inspiring!  Each and every one of the women that were highlighted in the book.  It has really motivated me.  The one idea that kept ringing in my head, was don't be afraid, go for it!  Which is my biggest roadblock!  So, why not, throw out my ideas, my dreams, my thoughts,and see where this takes me!  One of my resolution for 2010 was to deepen my faith.  That faith begins with believing in myself.  2009 was a hard year with many trials and tribulations.  Now that I am out of the storm, I can look back and see many life lessons that will stay with me forever.  Dealing with conflict, learning to trust, standing up for me, being content with past decisions......just to name a few!  So, you can see why 2010 was a welcomed sight!  A time to start fresh, to slow down, do the things I love, and love the things I do. 

My favorite day of the week is Monday, however, today really threw me!

With kids home today - it was a bit hard to accomplish all that I do on a Monday
.....but I managed!

So, will tomorrow feel more like a Monday than a Tuesday?

Still trying to navigate the whole blog thing.  How do I begin?  Where do I begin?

I watched Julie & Julia with my daughter last night.  Cracked me up!  What timing......
